Viktor Leth has lived his entire life separated from the world with his mother, who is afraid of everything. When she suddenly dies, Viktor discovers that his father Charlie, is still alive. Viktor decides to leave his safe surroundings to seek him out in Copenhagen, where Charlie turns out to be working with insurance in an ailing company. However, Viktor turns out to have a talent for insurance and is incorporated by his father as a lifeline in the company, while romance lurks on the sideline in the form of the unfortunate Josefine.
“Viktor mod verden” grasps the absurd comedy of life in a stylized universe that plays on great contrasts. It is shot on different locations in Copenhagen and on Bornholm.
